Refunds and cancellations
How deposits, cancellations, and refunds work for commissioned report and session work.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid for a specific written estimate. Informational rate pages on this site do not create a purchase until you accept an estimate and pay the requested deposit or invoice.
Timeframe
Cancellation requests must be emailed to info@data-beaconpoint.click. We confirm receipt within two business days.
Full refund
If you cancel before we begin discovery work and before any kickoff call has occurred, we refund the deposit in full.
Partial refund
If work has started—materials reviewed, outlines drafted, or charts begun—we refund the unused portion of fees after deducting time already spent at the rates in your estimate. Completed milestones are non-refundable.
Non-refundable items
- Completed and delivered final PDFs or printed sets
- Third-party print and courier charges already placed
- Board Outcomes Sessions held as scheduled
- Rush premiums once the rush schedule has been reserved
Refund process and timing
Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible. Bank transfers may take longer depending on your institution.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a Board Outcomes Session once without fee if you give at least five business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee stated in your estimate. Report delivery weeks can be moved by mutual written agreement; rush fees already paid are not returned when a date slips for client-side reasons.
Deposits and no-shows
A deposit secures a delivery week or session date. If your team does not attend a scheduled session without notice, the session fee is charged and is not refundable. We will offer one rebooking within thirty days subject to availability.
Work already started and materials
Drafts produced before cancellation remain our working files. Purchased paper stock or print proofs ordered at your request are charged at cost and are not refundable once ordered.
